Ypra beer

Commercial with a retro touch to celebrate the relaunch of a regional beer.

In 1976, after 140 years, the production of Ypra, the most beloved beer of the city Ieper, came to an end. 45 years later, Brewery Omer Vander Ghinste took ownership of the Vermeulen brewery, where Omer Jean Vander Ghinste joined forces with his cousin, fashion designer Edouard Vermeulen (Natan), to continue the brewing tradition of these two families. The beer received a 21st-century makeover and a new label. To celebrate their partnership and the promotion of the new Ypra, they were looking for a video that combines the beer's vibrant character with traditional elements. The result is an animated collage that highlights historical images from Ypra's story and the two driving forces behind the project.
